Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. It is DocImage's policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect from you through our app, DocImage.

Information We Collect

Images You Provide: When you use DocImage to resize photos or convert images to PDF, you upload images to the application. These images are processed locally on your device or within your browser.

Usage Data: We may collect anonymous information about how you interact with our app, such as features used and frequency of use. This data is aggregated and used to improve the app experience and is not personally identifiable.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect in the following ways:

  • To provide, operate, and maintain the features of DocImage, such as image resizing and PDF conversion.
  • To understand and analyze how you use our app, which helps us to improve and optimize its functionality and user experience.
  • To develop new products, services, features, and functionality.

Data Storage and Retention

DocImage primarily processes your images on your device (client-side). Images uploaded for features like "Photo Resizer" and "Image to PDF" are handled within your browser.

  • Temporary Storage: For your convenience, image data may be temporarily stored in your browser's session storage while you are actively using a feature (e.g., between uploading an image and configuring its resize settings). This data is typically cleared when you close the browser tab or explicitly when it's no longer needed for the current operation (e.g., after navigating away from the edit page).
  • No Server-Side Storage of Processed Images: We do not store your original or processed images on our servers as part of the core resizing or PDF conversion features. The final output (resized image or PDF) is provided for you to download directly.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal identification information or your uploaded images to others. We do not share your images with any third parties. Anonymous, aggregated usage data may be used for internal analysis to improve our services, but this data will not contain any personally identifiable information.

Data Security

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information and uploaded content. Since most processing is client-side, the security of your own device and browser also plays a critical role. However, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Children's Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, we encourage you to inform us so we can take appropriate action. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13 without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
